A selection of year 5 children represented us at the Super Star Sports Event this morning. The children excelled at the ‘bleep’ test and their sense of sportsmanship.

Well done! We’re proud of you!

Wow!! We are so lucky here at Redbridge Primary School to have had 14 volunteers come in and share their job roles with us as part of our very first careers farye.

Volunteers came in with pictures, props and real working examples of what their jobs entailed. The children were able to ask about the pros and cons of the jobs, how they trained and what qualifications and personal attributes they needed.

A BIG thank you everyone who came in 🙂

We are the Learning Council we are going to talk about our learning of space.
We have been doing space raps and we have two to show you.

Hey I’m Venus,
I’m the second planet next to the sun,
I’m the hottest planet in the solar system,
I’ve got a volcano witch can go Ka-boom,
then fiery lava that can go over you.
I have no moon,
so I wish I could sleep soon,
and my volcanoes keep going Ka-boom.
I have a volcano which can go Ka-boom,
then fiery hot lava can go over you!

Yo, my name is Neptune,
I’m colder than ice,
I’m blue and mysterious,
so bring a umbrella I’m serious.
You can’t come to me because I’m so curious.
My rings are made of dark rock and dust,
so don’t come round here wanting to fuss.

We also made our own little planet and we also went to Intech science museum and showed our parents our home work and our learning to them.
